What if I could only have 10 things?

1. My computer- not because I'm obsessed with the internet but because I love to write and I HATE writing with a pen and paper. I forget my ideas before they get put on paper. I need to write to get all of the thoughts I can't share with anyone else off of my mind.

2. Pictures of my friends & family & animals. There really is nothing that makes me feel better and less alone than looking at a picture of my horse or a picture of a time that I had so much fun with my friends.

3. The Harry Potter Series. I am an addict. I admit it. I love it and I have read each book so many times I don't think it's possible to count. I was one of those kids who made it cool to start reading the books. That series has the ability to make me feel at home no matter where I am.

4. An energy source to power my computer. (Self-explanatory)

5. Blankets. I am never cold. I have so much Norwegian and Russian blood in me that the Chicago climate doesn't affect me much, even at -30 degrees. However, I always sleep covered in blankets no matter how hot it is outside. It's about comfort, and I can't be comfortable enough to sleep without a blanket. (It's been proven)

6. MY HORSE! Who ever heard of a life without a horse? Geez how is this all the way down at #6?

7. My other pets. No, they aren't as practical as a horse because I can't ride them or use their manure as fertilizer BUT they still give me oodles of love.

8. My cell phone. Yes, unfortunately I think this must be on my list... as long as the plan includes texting. Texting is my preferred method of communication. I have friends all over the world and I do like to keep in touch with them. The computer is often times more practical but not when I'm on a schedule.

9. My Planner! That's right, I need my planner. I forget things so fast that I need to write them all down. Birthdays I remember because my parents were really good at making them a big deal when I was little so it became a big deal for me, but besides that, if we make an appointment to meet for lunch in two days and I don't write it down, you might find yourself sitting at a table alone for a while.

10. Something silly. I don't exactly know what but something entertaining. Like MadLibs! Who doesn't love MadLibs? I mean, If I only have the bare necessities and these ten things, then I need something to make me chuckle. Sure, all the animals do things that are good for giggles, but sometimes you need to find your giggles on your own.
